About Promare
ProMare is a non-profit organization established in 2001 to promote marine exploration throughout the world.
ProMare executes a variety of reserch projects independently and in concert with other academic, corporate, public and governmental organizations and agencies.
ProMare projects are designed to advance man’s knowledge of history & science and reinvigorate underwater exploration through fusion of popular media and scholarly research.
ProMare focuses on:
- Location and investigation of marine archaeological sites
- Location and exploration of WW2 sites under water
- Various oceanographic research projects
- Deep submergence engineering including manned submersibles
