        <![CDATA[Today the weather in Capraia turned very bad - it's cold and raining but hopefully it will brighten up by tomorrow.<br /><br />The sea is also very rough today which means that it will be colder than normal in the sea.<br /><br />Yesterday the dead weights were dropped onto the sea floor and today we are going to start the archaeological work.         <![CDATA[October 22, 2008.<br /><br />A new research project in Tuscany has just began.<br />The Soprintendenza per i Beni Archeologici della Toscana invited ProMare to take part to the preliminary investigations of a second century B.C. shipwreck that carried a cargo of black-glazed pottery and Graeco-Italic amphoras. The site is located at 18 m of depth, on a sandy seafloor spot, in the middle of a thick prairy of <i>posidonia oceanica</i>.<br /><br /> ]]>
